About the Role
This role is assisting a very busy mail air hub operation working to extremely tight timescales in order to meet flight arrivals and departures. As well as being a very fast paced environment the work is also physically demanding assisting with the transportation or mail on and off aircrafts. We are looking for individuals that are flexible in their working approach and enjoy working as part of a team.
No previous experience is required in this role, all training will be provided during your initial induction and on the job.
We’re looking for someone that is comfortable with the below
Shift times – 2200– 0200, 2230 – 0230 & 2245 – 0245 Monday to Friday (overtime available during peak periods after being fully trained)
Please note that these shift times may change depending on the airport schedule, but please note that the shifts are all 4 hours. Staff are expected to be able to work all shift timings.
Due to the level of security clearance we would expect all staff to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week with also the possibility to work all 5 days in the week.
This role requires Angard Staffing to conduct extensive referencing on your last 5 years in the UK and abroad (if required)
Clear Criminal Record Check
Good understanding of English language
Good quality of spoken English
Physically fit enough to complete and carry out a physically demanding role
Previous experience within a warehouse environment welcome
Candidates will be required to lift heavy mail sacks, weighing up to 20kg each
Candidates MUST be over 18 years old to work at this location
