HGV Class 2 DRIVER (PDI) / Yard Person
Ford and Slater are one the UKs largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. We currently have an exciting position as an HGV Class 2 Driver (PDI) / Yard Person in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Leicester.

The HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Person responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- This is a dual role. Collection / delivery of vehicles from / to customers primarily within Leicester and the surrounding area.
- Road testing.
- General yard duties as and when required when not driving.
- Working Monday to Friday: Week 1, 8am 4:30pm.
- Who are we looking for as our HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Person:
- You must hold a valid UK Class 2 licence but Class 1 is preferred.
- Be a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
- Any site maintenance / DIY knowledge would be an distinct advantage.
