Job Opportunity: Experienced CNC Laser Operator (Temp Role)
Location: Euroway Trading Estate, Bradford
Contract Duration: 2 – 3 months
Start Date: Immediate
Our client is looking for an experienced Laser Operator to join their team on a temporary basis.
If you have experience with laser cutting machines, programming, and nesting, and you’re looking for a role that offers a competitive rate and shift flexibility, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Role Requirements:

  • Laser Cutting Machine Experience : Experience with BAYKAL laser cutting machines and LANGTEC software is preferred.
  • Certified in Slinging & Lifting : As per MD regulations.
  • Manual Handling Training : Conducted during the induction.
  • Forklift Licence : Counterbalance forklift (minimum requirement).

Working Hours:

  • Night Shift : Monday to Thursday, 18:30 – 06:00 (44 hours total).
  • Training Week : Initial week on day shift (Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30).
  • Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate : £13.43 per hour on days
  • Night Shift Uplift : £17.90 per hour
  • Duration : Temporary role for 2 to 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and programming the laser cutting machine.
  • Nesting designs and ensuring accuracy.
  • Carrying out tasks safely with appropriate lifting and handling procedures.
