Community Forensic Intellectual Developmental and Disability Service
In this specialised role, you will:
Work with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and are involved in the criminal justice system.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs and risks associated with each client.
Develop and implement intervention plans to support clients in managing their behaviour and integrating into the community.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and law enforcement, to provide coordinated care.
Provide training and support to families and caregivers to enhance their ability to support clients effectively.
